TRIO RESTAURANT GROUP NAMES NEW EXECUTIVE CHEF
Downtown Café Trio Chef to Oversee Groups Three Restaurants
Salt Lake City, UT (July 26, 2007) – The Trio Restaurant Group which includes Café Trio downtown and Cottonwood as well as Fresco Italian Café, is pleased to announce the promotion of Shannon Roark as Executive Chef for all three restaurants.
As the head chef at Café Trio downtown, Roark solidified his commitment to using fresh ingredients and looks for organic and locally grown elements to enhance his menus. Before joining Café Trio four years ago, he worked in the kitchens of Gastronomy for nearly a decade.
“Shannon’s enthusiasm and leadership in the kitchen are apparent in fresh tastes and quality food he prepares. We are thrilled to see his skill reflected in all of our restaurants,” said Mikel Trapp, a partner in the Trio Restaurant Group along with restaurateur Mark Stamler.
